After a long, twelve hour, road trip, we
arrived in Montréal on Saturday night.
We found our lodging, Hotel Le Crystal,
without any problems and were very happy
at our choice.
Sunday, July 20th, we spent relaxing. Wanderlust set in and we left the hotel, grabbing a sandwich and Oignon Soupe to eat at Reuben's Deli. We ventured down Sainte Catherine and north to McGill University and visited the Redpath Museum. We grabbed pizza from Chez Dani's hole in the wall just down the street from the hotel and ate back in the hotel room.
Monday, July 21st, we ventured
southeast to Pointe-à-Callière, an
excellent Musèe, with an archaeological
dig of Old Montréal. Pushing our luck,
we nixed Ahnika's nap and had a late
lunch at the museum's cafe, L' Arrivage.
Delicious. Tammy had the salmon tartar
and I had the chef's pasta with duck
confit. Let's just say that Ahnika did
her best at making friends at other
tables. We came back to the hotel,
napped and went swimming before dinner
of leftover pizza. Whew.
